Derived from the parent line CHO-K1 and is hypersensitive to ionising radiation but not to UV irradiation. Cells may revert to wild-type after 1-2 weeks in culture. They should be checked for sensitivity and recloned when necessary.

XrS6 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

XrS6 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
