Derived from the lung of an adult female bat. Rabies virus produces CPE in this cell line. The cells have been demonstrated to propagate for 20 more passages beyond passage 69.

Quality Control
TB1 Lu (NBL-12) Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
