Description
The T47D/TR-1 cell line is a breast cancer cell line resistant to tamoxifen. The T47D/TR-1 cell line has been established by long term treatment of T47D/S2 cells with 1 µM tamoxifen. Clonal selection was performed in medium without tamoxifen. After growth in presence of 1 µM tamoxifen for 10 months, the growth rate was similar to the parental cells.

Quality Control
T47D/TR-1 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
