Derived from biopsy tissue of a small cell carcinoma originating in the adrenal cortex of a 55 year old Caucasian female. Electron microscopy revealed bulb gap junctions and occasional paired cisternae of the E.R.

Quality Control
SW 13 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
