Description
Derived from the fasciculata-reticularis zone of the adrenal cortex taken from three normal adult cows. FGF stimulates cell division. Cells are responsive to ACTH and other steroidogenic agents. Finite lifespan; 60-70 population doublings expected. Studies have indicated that this cell line produces both detectable BVDV antigens and infectious BVDV.

Ham's F12 with Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF) (crude, 50ng/ml or pure, 500 pg/ml) + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Quality Control
SBAC Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

SBAC Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
