Description
Rat Pulmonary Fibroblasts Cells from Glow Biologics are isolated from postnatal day 2 CD® IGS rat lung. RPF are cryopreserved at P0 and delivered frozen. RPF are characterized by fibroblast morphology. HPF are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Fibroblast Medium for culturing RPF in vitro.

Rat Pulmonary Fibroblasts Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
Shippment
Rat Pulmonary Fibroblasts Cells are shipped using dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
