Description
Rat Meningeal Cells from Glow Biologics are isolated from CD® IGS rat leptomeningi. RMC are cryopreserved at passage one culture and delivered frozen. RMC are characterized by immunofluorescence; they are positive for fibronectin and negative for GFAP, α-smooth muscle actin and Thy 1.1. RMC are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi. RMC are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions specified by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Fibroblast Medium for the culturing of RMF in vitro.
Shippment
Frozen primary cells are shipped on dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen primary cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
