Description
Rat Hepatic Stellate Cells from Glow Biologics are isolated from postnatal day 2 CD® IGS rat liver. RHSteC are cryopreserved after purification and delivered frozen. RHSteC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to desmin and α-actin. RHSteC are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. RHSteC are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Stellate Cell Medium for culturing RHSteC in vitro.
Shippment
Frozen primary cells are shipped on dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen primary cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
