Description
Rat Embryonic Fibroblasts Cells from Glow Biologics are isolated from embryonic day 14 CD® IGS rat embryos. These cells are cryopreserved at P0 and delivered frozen. REF are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody specific to fibronectin. REF are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum for culturing REF in vitro.

Rat Embryonic Fibroblasts Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
Shippment
Rat Embryonic Fibroblasts Cells are shipped using dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
