Description
Spontaneously immortalised rat bronchial epithelial cell line derived from a 4 month old male Wistar rat. The cell line is basal cell-like expressing cytokeratins 14 and 15. Vimentin negative. A slow growing derivative of RaBE, cultured in the absence of growth factors cell line is also available - RaBE, Glow Biologics catalogue no. 04100602.

Ham's F12 + 2mM Glutamine + 10ug/ml transferrin + 5ug/ml insulin + 10ng/ml EGF + 10ng/ml aFGF + 100ng/ml cholera toxin + 5% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Quality Control
RaBE Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
RaBE Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
