Description
A rat testis Leydig cell tumour cell line derived from a 2-month-old male WFu rat. Virus susceptibility herpes simplex; vaccinia; pseudorabies; vesicular stomatitis (Indiana). Resistant to poliovirus 2. Stimulation by other hormones or cAMP is not required for hormone secretion.

HAMS F10 + 2mM Glutamine + 15% Horse serum + 2.5% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Do not use heat-inactivated serum.
Quality Control
R2C Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
R2C Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
