Description
Adapted to culture from a spontaneous BALB/c mouse lymphoid tumour. Thought to be of B lymphocyte origin. Resistant to dextran sulphate. Produces isoenzyme and is capable of antibody-dependent lysis of sheep erythrocytes and tumour targets.

Quality Control
Pu-518 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
