Description
Porcine Retinal Astrocytes from Glow Biologics are isolated from porcine retina. PA-r are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. Each vial contains >1 x 10^6 cells in 1 ml volume. PA-r are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody specific to GFAP. PA-r are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. PA-r are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Astrocyte Medium-animal for culturing PA-r in vitro.
Shippment
Frozen primary cells are shipped on dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen primary cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
