Description
The fish cell line PG has been initiated 1976 from ovarian tissue of 5 juvenile pike. Cells grow at 4°C to 25°C with an optimum temperature of 20°C. PG cells are susceptible to various fish viruses including infectious pancreatic necosis viruses and pike fry rhabdovirus. The cell line has been mycoplasma eradicated at Glow Biologics.

Quality Control
PG Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
