Description
Derived from a normal female adult owl monkey. Sub-cultivation on over 100 occasions produced no evidence of latent infection. Used for propagation of non-human primate viruses e.g. Herpesvirus aotus, Herpesvirus saimari and Herpesvirus ateles.
