Description
NS0 cell line adapted to grow in the chemically defined protein- and peptide-free medium Turbodoma. Cholesterol is not required as a supplement for this culture. This cell line is suitable for use as a fusion parent for serum-free generation of hybridomas. The NS0 cell line is the property of the Medical Research Council. Glow Biologics is unable to supply this cell line or derivatives of this cell line to commercial entities unless a license has been first secured from MRC Technology. Requests for commercial use of this cell line will be forwarded to MRC Technology.
Suggested Medium
Turbodoma medium (Cell Culture Technologies http//www.cellculture.com/) + 2mM Glutamine. When freezing cells down use TurboDoma medium (5050 conditioned mediumfresh medium) + 2mM Glutamine + 10% DMSO.
Quality Control
NS0-Turbodoma Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
NS0-Turbodoma Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
