Derived from normal kidney and exhibits contact-inhibition. It is sensitive to viral or chemical transformation, including proteins such as SGF. Originated from the same mixed culture as NRK-52E but has distinct characteristics.

Quality Control
NRK-49F Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
