Description
Established from a lymphoma produced in an NFS/N mouse by injecting CaS-25M ecotropic MuLV. Cells show markers of large pre-B lymphoblasts and spontaneously produce ecotropic and mink cell focus-forming viruses.

DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 1mM Oxaloacetic acid + 0.2U/ml Bovine Insulin + 2ug/ml Transferrin + 50µM 2-Mercaptoethanol (2ME) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Quality Control
NFS-5 C1 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
NFS-5 C1 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
