Description
The hybrid ND8/34 cell line is a subclone of ND8 which was derived after fusion of primary neonatal rat dorsal-root-ganglion (DRG) neurons with N18Tg2, a mouse neuroblastoma (C1300)-derived azaguanine-resistant line. HAT sensitive hybrids were selected and cloned by limiting dilution. ND8/34 are electrically excitable to the chemical activator of nociceptive sensory neurons, bradykinin.

Quality Control
ND8/34 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

ND8/34 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
