Description
Derived from mouse liver cell line NCTC 721 which was obtained from normal liver of a 2 day old C3H/An mouse. The cells have been used in biochemical and nutritional studies. The cells are susceptible to VSV (Indiana strain).

Quality Control
NCTC clone 1469 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
