Description
Derived by cloning from a parent line produced from normal mouse embryo tissue (C57B1/KaLw). The cells have spontaneously transformed in vitro. The cells are negative for polyoma virus infection but are susceptible to the virus.

NCTC 4093 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
