Description
Cloned from the C1300 mouse neuroblastoma line. Adapted to culture by alternate in vivo and in vitro passage. Cells have characteristics of mature neurons and secrete the enzymes for the synthesis of the neurotransmitters, choline acetylase and tyrosine hydroxylase. Cells are susceptible to VSV, HSV and Vaccinia viruses.

Quality Control
NB4 1A3 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

NB4 1A3 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
