Description
C57BL/6 Mouse Renal Proximal Tubular Epithelial Cells (MRPTEpiC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from neonate day 2 C57BL/6 mouse kidneys. MRPTEpiC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. MRPTEpiC are characterized by immunofluorescent method with antibodies to cytokeratin-18, -19 and vimentin. MRPTEpiC are guaranteed to further culture under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics; however, MRPTEpiC are not recommended for long-term cultures due to limited expansion capacity and senescence after subculturing.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Epithelial Cell Medium-animal for expanding MRPTEpiC in vitro.
Quality Control
Mouse Renal Proximal Tubular Epithelial Cells from C57BL/6 are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
