Description
Mouse Hepatic Stellate Cells from Glow Biologics are isolated from postnatal day 2 or day 8 C57Bl/6 mouse liver. MHSteC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. MHSteC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to desmin and α-actin. MHSteC are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. MHSteC are guaranteed to further culture under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics; however, MHSteC are not recommended for subculturing due to limited expansion capacity and senescence after subculturing.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Stellate Cell Medium for culturing MHSteC in vitro.
Shippment
Frozen primary cells are shipped on dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen primary cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
