Description
Mouse Embryonic Fibroblasts Cells from C57BL/6 from Glow Biologics are isolated from embryonic day 14 C57BL/6 mouse embryos. These cells are cryopreserved at P0 and delivered frozen. MEF are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody specific to fibronectin. MEF are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum for culturing MEF in vitro.

Mouse Embryonic Fibroblasts Cells from C57BL/6 are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
