Description
Mouse Dermal Fibroblasts Cells from C57BL/6 from Glow Biologics are isolated from postnatal day 2 C57BL/6 mouse skin. MDF are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. MDF are characterized by their spindle morphology and immunofluorescence with antibody specific to fibronectin. MDF are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Fibroblast Medium-2 for culturing MCF in vitro.

Mouse Dermal Fibroblasts Cells from C57BL/6 are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
