Description
A clone of the mink lung cell line Mv.1.Lu. Isolated from a single cell of a focus produced in the monolayer after infection with Moloney murine sarcoma virus associated with the RD-114 helper leukaemia virus. Super infection with non-transforming leukaemia virus results in transformation and net amplification of sarcoma-specific RNA sequences.

Quality Control
MiCL1 (S+L-) Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
