Description
The Me-series of mesotheliomas were generated by an intrapleural inoculation of UICC crocidolite to induce primary mesotheliomas in syngenic PVG/c Norweigan Hooded rats. Solid fragments of the tumours were transplanted and maintained by s.c. serial passage. The cell lines are metastatic in a syngeneic host.

Quality Control
Me19-TG2 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
