Description
Derived from the kidney of a normal adult Cocker Spaniel in 1958. Useful in viral studies, supports the growth of vesicular exanthema virus of swine, vesicular stomatitis, vaccina, coxsackie B-5, adenoviruses, reoviruses and infectious canine hepatitis. Also known as MDCK (NBL-2).

Quality Control
MDCK Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
