Originally derived from synovial fluid of a patient suffering from degenerative arthritis. However, subsequent sub-lines shown to be of mouse origin, with some characteristics similar to the strain L line. Cells have been used to propagate Chlamydia spp.

Quality Control
McCoy Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

McCoy Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
