Description
Derived from a 58 year old female Caucasian with Dukes type B adenocarcinoma of the colon. The cells secrete CEA and mucin and are tumorigenic in nude mice. LS174T was derived from the same patient. The cells have not been exposed to trypsin.

Quality Control
LS180 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
