Description
Derived from kidneys taken from New Zealand white rabbits. The cells are susceptible to a range of viruses including rubella, vaccinia and herpes. Rubella replicates to a high titre.

Quality Control
LLC-RK1 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
