Description
Established by EBV transformation of mononuclear cell from a peripheral blood sample from a 4 year old male patient. The patient was diagnosed with trichothiodystrophy (TTD), a syndrome connected to deficiency in excision repair of ultraviolet radiation induced DNA damage. Studies with fibroblasts from the same patient, known as TTD4BR, have been published.

Quality Control
LB443 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
