Derived from a 58 year old normal male. The mononuclear cells have been used as a normal control for DNA repair deficiency studies, effect of UV irradiation and hprt mutation analysis. They have subsequently been transformed with EBV.

Quality Control
LB42 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
