Description
Established by EBV transformation of mononuclear cells from the peripheral blood of a 1 year old male. The patient was diagnosed with Xeroderma pigmentosum, complementation group D, with some features of Cockayne syndrome. Fibroblasts derived from the same individual are designated XP8BR.

Quality Control
LB316 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
