Description
Derived from mononuclear cells from the peripheral blood of a 62 year old male. The patient was diagnosed with Xeroderma pigmentosum variant, illustrating that the disease is heterogeneous. T cells from the original sample have been used for UV irradiation studies and hprt mutant frequency. The cell line has been established by transformation with EBV. Fibroblasts from the same individual are designated XP11 BR.

Quality Control
LB205 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
