Description
LB198 has been derived from mononuclear cells from peripheral blood of a 45 year old female. The cells have been transformed with EBV. The patient has been shown to be heterozygote for trichothiodystrophy (TTD) and is the parent of LB199 TTD cell line is a rare genetic disorder with deficiency in excision repair of UV damage. Fibroblasts from the same individual have been designated TTD HM 1BR.

Quality Control
LB198 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
