Description
The lymphocyte cell line LB185 has been established using mononuclear cells from peripheral blood of a 56 year old normal male. T cells from the same sample have been used as controls for cellular radiosensitivity studies. Cells have been subsequently transformed with EBV. Fibroblasts have been derived from the same individual and were designated 153BR. Cells are lymphhoblastoid with floating aggregates present.

Quality Control
LB185 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
