Description
A subclone of L6, a rat thigh muscle cell line. Previously, on reaching confluence the cells fused to form myotubes and a twitching movement could be observed. However, these cells have lost the ability to fuse after reaching confluency.

Quality Control
L6.G8 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
L6.G8 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
