Description
Derived from normal rat kidney transformed by Kirsten sarcoma virus. Cells do not produce virus but carry the virus genome. In serum free medium the cell line produces growth factors capable of stimulating quiescent cells to grow in monolayers or in soft agar.

Quality Control
KNRK Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
