Description
Cell morphology is different from the parent clone (A31) and there cell line is a loss of sensitivity to contact inhibition of cell division. The cells are highly tumorigenic. Superinfection with MuLV results in rescue of MSV.

Quality Control
K-BALB (K-234) Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
