Description
JIM3 cell line is a myeloma tumour line demonstrating typical plasma cell phenotype (CD38, PCA-1 8A and CD24 positive), deficient in DNA repair. JIM3 was derived from plasma myeloma cells derived from pleural fluid of advanced multiple myeloma patient, homoplastic with JIM1. Used for in vitro study and comparison of genetic instability in myeloma tumour lines (homoplastic with JIM1) and the in vitro study of effects of DNA repair deficiency in myeloma tumour lines

Quality Control
JIM3 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
