Derived from bone marrow removed from a female patient with multiple myeloma. The cells synthesise IgG at a rate of 2.4ug/1,000,000 cells/day and have receptors for insulin, calcitonin and human growth hormone. Quality Control
IM 9 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

IM 9 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
