Description
The hybrid cell line II b has been established by transforming mouse NIH 3T3 with mitotic chromosomes from the human cell line MNNG-HOS. Various probes showed stable integration of chromosome 7 DNA (7q22-31.3 and 7q22-7 cen) being closely linked to the gene mutation causing cystic fibrosis

Quality Control
II b Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
