Description
Normal rat small intestine epithelial cells which synthesise fibronectin and collagen. Growth is inhibited by cortisol. Cells possess cell surface antigens specific for intestinal epithelial cells in vivo. Capable of at least 10 population doublings.

Quality Control
IEC 6 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

IEC 6 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
