Description
Derived from normal epithelial cells of the rat ileum. Cells should undergo at least 20 population doublings. The line was established using the same techniques as for IEC6. IEC 18 cells grow in small islands and do not reach confluency.

DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 5-10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Quality Control
IEC 18 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
IEC 18 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
