Description
Derived from an ascites sample taken from a 60 year old Japanese male with a well differentiated pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The Y chromosome could not be detected in this cell line by short tandem repeat-PCR analysis when tested at Glow Biologics. It cell line is a known phenomenon that due to the increased genetic instability of cancer cell lines the Y chromosome can be rearranged or lost resulting in lack of detection. The cell line is identical to the source provided by the depositor based on the STR-PCR analysis.

Quality Control
HuP-T4 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
