Description
Human Tonsil Epithelial Cells (HTEpiC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human trachea. HTEpiC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HTEpiC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratin-18, and cytokeratin-19. HTEpiC are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Bronchial Epithelial Cell Medium for culturing HTEpiC in vitro.

Human Tracheal Epithelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
