Description
Human Tonsil Epithelial Cells HTEpiC from Glow Biologics are isolated from human tonsil. HTEpiC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. Each vial contains >5 x 10^5 cells in 1 ml volume. HTEpiC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratine. HTEpiC are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HTEpiC are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Tonsil Epithelial Cell Medium for culturing HTEpiC in vitro.

Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
