Description
Human Oral Keratinocytes (HOK) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human oral mucosa. HOK are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HOK are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratine-8, -18 and -19. HOK are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Oral Keratinocyte Medium for the culturing of HOK in vitro.
Quality Control
Human Oral Keratinocytes are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
